Tomorrow we´re wrapping up the last vocal stuff on 4 songs... and before the guys arrive tomorrow afternoon I will be re-arranging and recording some smaller stuff and changes. After this, these 4 songs should be totally 100% ready mix.

Feels great!

Another 6-7 songs and we´ll have ourselves an actual album!

Behemoth again...

Today we layed down most of the vox for Behemoth wich apparantly handles the lyrical subject of alcoholics robbing our swedish "Systembolaget" and cause general mayhem. reflects the songs character quite well I´d have to say!

And I guess I won´t have to tell you about the song´s awesomeness and sheer power do I?

We´ve just finished recording all instruments for the new song Behemoth and by the name you can imagine the heaviness of it... it will be a killer when we and on the Vox, that is written but yet not recorded.

Tomorrow me and wifey head to Hamburg for some R&R and maybe a few beers with my german bandmates before I dig in to finish the rest of Deep In the Dark wich shows a bit softer and atmospheric side of Persuader.

Hey guys and gals! Since the gig we´ve been putting together and recording more songs of course and right now we´re waiting for our awesome, but busy singer to free up some time for a vocal session or two. This is a short clip from "Quadkill"... wich may or may not change name for the album. =)

I know this recording is among the most prolonged ones in the history... but we´re doing the best we can so bear with us.

Okey, so the day came and we ruled the world.

Now it is time to once again start up the song-writing machinery.

Things are also happening in the search for labels so we feel very confident that a new Persuader album will see the light of day once again.

House of Metal

At the moment we are taking some time to rehearse for the 6th of March gig at House of Metal. Both old classics need some fresh air and the new songs we´ll play needs some attention of course. In between rehearsing we record some new stuff of course and I have to say that we are making some good progress!

I knw I promised more clips some time ago, and it´s still coming! Just some finishing touches and I´ll publish a teser clip om the two songs that are recorded/mixed/mastered.

So we are fastly moving forward. We are at the moment concentrating on finishing up everything on three new songs to present to labels. And of course, some new clips for YOU as well.

Today I sat down with Ronnie from EAP (Enhanced Audio Productions) and we did some rough mix-settings and I think without a doubt this will be the hardest-sounding Persuader album so far.

Check out the website early next week for some more clips from the album.

A weekend full of git-recording and vocal work is planned...

Hey everybody.

After a short break for the yearly holidays we´re back in recording mode again. Though a slight setback is that I have to re-record a great deal of the gits but other than that things are rolling pretty good.

Contact with various labels has been made and discussions are being held so hopefully the album will still be released within a reasonable amount of time.

Some of the songs are more or less finished (except for the re-recording stuff) so some clips shall be uploaded soon.

The quiet place...

Hey guys!

Things has been a bit too silent for a while but rest assured that things are still rolling here in Persuader camp.

Of course, with christmas coming up, we have been a bit busy with other things besides the recording.

Also, we have just been faced with the news that Dockyard1 (our label) is no longer in business wich means that we have to work on finding a new partner that is up to the task of releasing the new massivly hard-hitting Persuader album.

Efraim and Jens is keeping themselves busy writing all the vocals while the rest of us sits at Studio Värdelös recording all the gits, basses and arranging all the keys and what not.

Slaves of Labour....

Indeed we all are....but yesterday we managed to do some test recordings with the song Liberty. Equipped with his old Tama Starclass performer kit, Sabian AAX cymbals and brand new EC2's and ONYX skins Efraim smashed the living hell out of the cans, and there was much rejoice. We aim to use real drums (as opposed to e-kit) this time around to get that raw live-feel we all love. All good for now, back to work...

Gits and Vox

Hey everybody

Not much "fun" is happening at the studio other than that we are still recording guitars. =)
We have also started with some vocal arrangements for the songs and I have a really good feeling about this album.

A big difference compared to our others album-recordings is of course that this time we also write music as we progress, as to the others albums were more or less completly written before entering the studio.

However, this way is really cool and you really get a sort of spontaneous thing going.

I know I´ve promised some vidz and they will be up this week at least.

Yep, that´s what´s going on right now..... Emil is recording mighty rythm guitars with mighty mad-sounding amps...

Not too interesting but it has to be done in order to have an actual album (with guitars) at the end of the day.

During all these re-recordings of the guitars we are working on some of the arrangments as well and finishing up some loose ends that still excist in some of the songs.

Should me able to post some vidz of some shit soon.

Ok, so the story begins....

Here´s just some pics from the trusted "Studio Värdelös".... (Click on them for larger Pics...)wich is sort a mobile studio wich goes wherever the sound is best.

This time we are residing in an old haunted house just by the shore of the mighty Kvarken.... It´s cold, dark and pretty filthy so the ambience for the new album is set.

We have been tweaking sounds for a while and should be able to start recordings next week. Things will be a bit more relaxed and flexible this time as we continue to write some stuff thats left during the production.

But time waits for noone, so in November we have scheduled the album to be done... See ya /Persuader
